The mindset of individuals varies considerably depending on whether they are in leisure, business or mission mode. A customer or shopper will often be difficult to distract from their mission and are certainly not in the mood to watch ‘television’. This needs to be carefully considered in arriving at the most appropriate channel strategy.

If timely, helpful and valuable information is imparted it will be noted and absorbed and the screen network will attract attention on subsequent visits. If the information falls short of this mark it will be dismissed, ignored and no further notice will be paid to that source of information.
